Eternal law is not my idea, it is God's law and the evidence is in design and life itself from antiquity to present day. We are all governed by this fundamental and pervasive law; we are governed by seasons, by natural disasters, by the anatomy of the human body, and by the elements of the earth. Design is a part of our lives and therefore also subject to this one fundamental truth...to eternal law.
Honoring eternal law becomes all the more essential now due to the expansion, endless array of options, and rising prices in the design industry. The law simplifies the design process, enables safety barriers, and provides a bedrock for development. In addition, the law allows for greater long-term financial health, peace of mind, and application to any design project, large or small, new or old.
Ultimately, everyone has the freedom to choose how they wish to practice their creativity and operate their own lives. I have no desire to judge the work of others or impose regulations on anyone, nor do I desire fame and glory of my own. However, I have worked within the design industry long enough and have walked through enough Mediterranean homes, central city apartments, European cathedrals, furniture markets, and lavish American estates to witness an intrinsic foundation that is pervasive to design at its purest level and applicable to any project.
