Eternal law is the truth that allows us to weigh options, measure decisions, and achieve great design for any project.
Eternal law is God's law, and the evidence has been visible from antiquity to present day. We are all governed by this overarching and unfading law that holds the created world and the framework of life together. For example, we are governed by seasons, by night and day, warm or cold climate, natural disasters, geographical settings, the anatomy of the human body, and by the elements of the earth.
The law is good. It is solid. It is truth. It is life.
Design interacts with life and is therefore also subject to this fundamental truth...to eternal law.
Honoring eternal law becomes all the more essential now due to industry expansion, rising prices, and staggering amounts of product and material options. The law simplifies the design process, enables safety barriers, and provides a bedrock for development.
In addition, the law allows for greater long-term financial health, peace of mind, and application to any design project, large or small, new or old.
Ultimately, everyone has the freedom to choose how they wish to practice creativity or operate their lives. My intention is not to impose regulations on anyone, nor do I desire fame or glory of my own. However, I have worked within the design industry long enough and journeyed through enough Mediterranean homes, central city apartments, European cathedrals, furniture markets, and lavish American estates to witness an intrinsic foundation that is pervasive to enduring design at its purest level.
I simply wish to share design with you; and that starts with the truth, because the truth sets us free.
